Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Captain Chris moved with his family to North Padre Island his sophomore year of high school — and never looked back. The Laguna Madre grabbed hold of him early, and he's spent over a decade mastering its tides, flats, and fish.

A true North Padre Island local, Chris runs his charters out of Marker 37 Marina and knows these waters better than anyone. Live bait and artificial both available. All ages welcome — from kids on their first cast to seasoned tournament anglers.

Deposits & Cancellations

A $100 deposit is required to secure your booking. This locks in your date and guarantees Captain Chris is there and ready for your group. Deposit is settled directly with the captain — not collected online.

Weather Cancellation

Safety first. If Captain Chris cancels your trip due to unsafe weather conditions, your full deposit will be refunded — no questions asked. You'll also have the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

Client Cancellation

If you need to cancel your trip, the $100 deposit is non-refundable. This covers Captain Chris's time, preparation, and reserved boat availability. We appreciate your understanding.

The Laguna Madre fishes differently every month — redfish in the spring shallows, trout on the grass flats in summer, big bull reds in the fall. A full season subscription lets you experience it all and seriously improve your fishing over time.
💳 Payment & Commitment
The full 6-month season must be purchased — no month-to-month or early-exit option. Payment schedule is flexible and worked out directly with Captain Chris. A great gift for the angler in your life!
☁️ Weather Policy
If Captain Chris cancels due to unsafe weather, your trip carries over to the following month at no charge. Your season commitment stays intact — you never lose a trip to weather.
